I’ve been selling real estate since 2003 after spending more than a decade at the parent company of Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus (yes, as in Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!) and a couple years at an Internet start-up company. As for education, I have a degree in Business Administration and lots of letters and certifications after my name… but the professional designation I’m most proud of is the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). There are less than four percent (4%) of real estate agents in the country who have these credentials.
The first real estate broker I worked for said “Lisa, you’re spending too much time with people! You need to focus on volume, not people.” He and I had what could only be called a deep, philosophical divide! After all, isn’t the time that an agent spends with you part of what makes it all work? I left that broker to join RE/MAX where the brokers understand that real estate is about getting results and building relationships that last beyond one event.
You can be confident of my loyalty because I won’t represent both the Seller and the Buyer in the same transaction as a dual agent. Dual agents make twice the commission, but the loyalty is split between the buyer and seller. Just ask yourself, are you being represented as well as you should be? It’s tempting…I’d make a lot more money, but I go to the settlement table knowing I did all I could to protect you, not my paycheck.
Whether buying or selling, I am here to guide you. Call, text or email to connect. Who knows, we may be a perfect match!
