Loudoun County located in Northern Virginia is a microcosm of the Commonwealth of Virginia (VA). Loudoun ranges from more densely populated communities on its eastern side while the western half sports hundreds of acres of more sparsely populated, rolling countryside dotted with horse farms, vineyards and smaller communities. This combination gives residents so many life style choices along with steady, but managed growth, low unemployment, world-class schools and beautiful, planned communities. Dubbed “DC’s Wine Country”, western Loudoun offers superb, locally produced food and wines.
Also of particular pride in Loudoun are the historic villages and towns that maintain a vintage charm. Like Virginia, Loudoun (founded in 1757) has a rich legacy dating back to our Nation’s colonial period. We are understandably proud of what Loudoun has to offer. Loudoun County has grown from mostly rural, somewhat sleepy farmland to now include many beautiful neighborhoods and communities. With this growth, we’re also home to many regional and international businesses that make up the Dulles Technology Corridor.
