The Waterford Fair, or more formally known as the Waterford Homes Tour & Crafts Exhibit, is THE Loudoun County event not to be missed! Held the 1st full weekend of October, 2011 marks the 68th annual fair held in the Village of Waterford, a village established by Quakers in the 18th century. There’s much to see and do at the fair as it encompasses the entire Village. Over 150 juried artisans display their wares as they demonstrate their craftsmanship on-site. Also enjoy live music, food, Civil War & Revolutionary War reenactments, and tours of historic homes in the Village. Thanks to the on-going efforts of the Waterford Foundation, Waterford maintains the look & feel of its historic past, including the undeveloped pastureland surrounding the Village. Advance tickets are available in-person for a discount. Tickets are also sold at the gate. Check the Waterford Foundation website for details. Waterford is a 15-20 minute drive from Leesburg, VA. Follow signs from Rt. 9 North to Clarkes Gap Road.
