There’s always something going on in DC’s Wine Country (aka Loudoun) and Valentine’s Day is no exception. Two local vineyards have special treats and tastings planned for Valentines Day (actually, the weekend prior) this year. Reservations are required and filling quickly so don’t delay! Sunset Hills Vineyard will host sessions of chocolate and red wine pairings with chocolatier Wilhelm Wanders on Sunday, February 13, at 1:00 and 3:00pm. Cost is $23.97/person. Sunset Hills is located at 38295 Freemont Overlook Lane, Purcellville. Breaux Vineyards, also in Purcellville, will open its romantically decorated barrel room for wine tastings and handmade truffles on Saturday, February 12, and Sunday, February 13, 11:00am to 5:00pm.
